The number one reason why short sales don’t close is because the buyer will become frustrated and walk from the deal. As an agent the most frustrating thing for me is when clients become emotional because they don’t make wise decisions. Once a buyer or seller becomes emotional then they are likely to not make decisions in their own best self interest. Short sales can be a good buying opportunity and I hate to see a buyer miss out on an opportunity just becasue they don’t understand the process and become frustrated.  If you are a buyer and have any interest in short sales the best advice I can give is to be patient. It takes time, more time then what everyone is telling you and more time then you originally thought. Be patient and don’t be caught off guard about how much time it is taking.
